    Strategic Foresight and Innovation (SFI)

Lo Bil (she-her or they-them): I work in a variety of durational practices, primarily performance and material relations, and I facilitate embodied relational scores toward opening up conversations between people that go beyond language. I work site specifically and follow intuitive movement patterns toward idea generation for visual and written works, taking photographs of speculative assemblages, hand drawing maps of actions, and making sculptural forms to interact with, out of natural materials, a personal archive, and found ephemera. I am a queer cis-white working-class artist, born in Toronto and honoured to be a part of the 2022 Interdisciplinary MFA cohort at OCADU. Titiksha Rout (she/her) is an Inclusive design student. She holds a bachelor’s degree in visual communication design from India and now aims to use her knowledge and learnings of inclusive design to upskill her ongoing practice. As a graphic designer, she has worked in experimental ed-tech and animal conservation which is now guiding her practice in sustainability and environmental studies.

She has moved from India with her rescue indie dog and hence has all the hot spots for fun activities and parks to roam around with your fur babies! Feel free to ask her questions about moving, pets and adjusting to life in Canada as an international student.

Giuliana (she/her) is a first-year Strategic Foresight and Innovation student with a background in Industrial Design. With previous experience in branding, content, and product design, she approaches SFI with a more creative, youthful perspective. Heavily interested in the intersection of technology, ethics, and consumer behaviour, she is pursuing the OCAD program to explore the potential futures of these industries.
