EAD: Bridge To First Year Pre-Registration Application & Fee 2023

Please submit this $125 (CAD) non-refundable pre-registration fee and application for the English for Art & Design (EAD): Bridge To First Year program. You must have received a conditional offer to OCAD University in order to be eligible for this program.

Program Dates: The program will be held from July 4 - August 11, 2023.

If you have not already done so, please send your English language proficiency test scores to admissions@ocadu.ca to be reviewed.

After you submit this pre-registration form (and English language proficiency test scores), the admissions office will determine your eligibility for the program based on your language test scores. After your eligibility has been confirmed, you will receive an email inviting you to complete registration and pay the program fee in full (once registration is open).

Note: Students currently enrolled in EAD: Preparation are not required to complete the pre-registration payment for EAD: Bridge To First Year and will pre-register with a different process/form.
 

Regarding Program Format/Hours:
We anticipate that we will offer online and in-person (on-campus) sections (depending on student enrolment) and will clarify closer to the program registration period.

To help us better plan, please let us know if you prefer/need an online section or if you are interested and able to attend in person (on campus). More information is below.

ONLINE: Total 24 hours per week time commitment which includes a combination of weekly synchronous (at the same time) meetings (3 sessions of 1.5 – 2-hour meetings each week), and weekly asynchronous (on your own time) work; with a concluding online exhibition.

IN PERSON: Total 24 hours per week time commitment, including daily meetings (for 3 hours each time) and working time (on campus); with a concluding online exhibition.
