    Take 3 different Portfolio Clinics at OCAD U and build a robust, well-rounded portfolio that sets you apart.

    Across 2D and 3D materials, art, and design approaches, you’ll gain hands-on experience, professional insights, and portfolio-ready pieces to show the full scope of your creative potential for art & design university admissions. 

    By completing all three clinics, you’ll:

    • Explore diverse materials & techniques in both 2D & 3D forms
    • Strengthen creative research & concept development 
    • Develop portfolio work that reflects your skills, creativity, and range
    • Come away with new skills, portfolio-ready pieces, and process documentation

    With the full package, you will be able to attend all three of the following in-person workshops:

    Create your own window packaging design and 3D mockup of an imagined product, using graphic design techniques and illustration!

    Fabricating a Metal Pencil Box
     
    Learn basic metal shop techniques by creating a functional metal pencil box with a handle for storing stationery supplies.

    Drawing and Painting the Figure 
     

    Explore observational figurative drawing and painting from a live model and develop a stronger understanding of perspective, colour theory, composition, and more.

    You will be placed in a different workshop each day for 3 of these available dates, ensuring that you complete all workshops.

    Single Portfolio Clinic:$125 + tax 
    Portfolio Clinic 3-Package:$275 + tax 


    Single clinics: If you would like to attend one or two clinics only, register individually here



    Policies:

    Portfolio Clinic workshops may be subject to cancellation in the case of low enrolment. In this case, you will receive a refund. 

    Participants are eligible for a full package refund if a cancellation request is received at least 10 calendar days prior to the start date of the     first registered Portfolio Clinic date. This 10-day notice period allows us sufficient time to offer the spot to another student on the waitlist. All refund requests must be submitted directly via email to portfolioclinics@ocadu.ca. 

    Once a student has participated in 1 out of 3 workshops in the package, partial refund requests will not be processed.
