This exciting program will present the studio experience and skill building emphasized here at OCAD University. Over the span of five days, you and other participants will take part in various workshops and other activities that will encourage experimentation, creative process, technical development, and kickstart your portfolio! 

Your experience will include:

• An introduction to OCAD University programs, including Drawing and Painting, Illustration, Industrial Design, Environmental Design, Graphic Design, and Photography 
• Exploration of 2D and 3D practices, with both analogue and digital mediums
• A guided tour of current exhibitions at Onsite Gallery
• A talk with an emerging artist on developing a creative practice
• Instruction on how to install and document your work
• Discussion of what makes strong concepts, techniques, and references
• How to write about your art or design practice
• Leaving with finished projects or pieces, that will support your future in organizing a portfolio and making more work 

Option 3 runs from July 21 - July 25. The total Summer Workshop cost is $847.50.
